ABOUT ME
I’m an experienced nonfiction editor who specializes in developing, editing, writing, and repurposing content according to the needs of project, audience, style, and brand. I’m passionate about finding and telling great stories, whether I’m doing a line edit on a book about parenting twins or adapting content for a high school reference source on 1960s counterculture. I’m dedicated to untangling thorny problems in everything from sentence structure to big-picture approach.
I began my publishing career over 15 years ago as an editor with Greenwood Publishing Group. Early on, I learned the value of honing and publishing meaningful content. If we work together, I’ll help you keep your text concise and targeted while preserving your vision and voice.
I offer services in developmental editing, copyediting, line editing, writing, ghostwriting, localization, project management, proofreading, and permissions review. My clients include Callisto Media (Rockridge Press), Springer Nature, SAGE Publications, ABC-CLIO, Purdue University Press, University of Chicago Press, Insight Editions, and Zest Books. I'm also a former U.S. Editorial Content Manager for Operando, where I generated and developed articles on faith and spirituality to help readers find meaning in their lives.
My areas of expertise include family, parenting, self-help, wellness, mindfulness, spirituality, religion, popular culture, social/cultural history, education, and young adult/juvenile audiences. I work in a variety of formats, including general interest and creative nonfiction books, academic papers, journal articles, web articles, reference materials, cookbooks, and devotionals.
